| Oak Quarry Golf Club looms above the scenic Jurupa Montains of Southern California, centrally located minutes away from Los Angeles, Orange County and Palm Springs. This unparalleled golf course is expertly designed by Dr. Gil Morgan/Schmidt-Curley Designs. It is sculptured and maintained to test golfers of all levels.
Oak Quarry owes its unique settings to a long history of mining for marble by the Riverside Cement Company, in what was known as the Jensen Quarry. With a history that began during World War I, Jensen Quarry was a major contributor to a fortuitous combination of marble sources located in only this area of the Inland Empire. Jensen Quarry was abandoned in 1979 and sat idled for 22 years until Dr Gil Morgan and Schmidt-Curley Design layed out one of California’s most incredible golf course.
Today, the rock quarry serves as a backdrop for a magnificent 7,002-yard, par-72 golf course. All the holes are named after minerals found in the quarry, such as Gypsum Gully, Marble Ledge, Limestone Dome, Quartz Corner, Zircon Tumble. Oak Quarry features dramatic elevation changes, holes that take you in and out of canyons, negotiating undulating fairways, and tiered greens.
